System Features

1. Running gear status monitoring and diagnosis: The system uses composite sensors to monitor the status of the axle box, gear box, motor, transmission gear, and wheel tread in real time, and can accurately identify axle box bearing failure, transmission gear failure, motor bearing failure, and wheel tread failure. And through the comprehensive, trend, and comparative analysis of the collected data, scientific guidance for maintenance, establish a running gear and wheel-rail safety assurance system, and realize the health management of the vehicle running gear throughout the life cycle.


2. Derailment monitoring: The system continuously and real-time obtains the axle box vibration and impact signals through the composite sensor installed at the axle box position for analysis and diagnosis. When the vehicle derails, it quickly alarms and continuously outputs the alarm information to the braking system and ATC. The derailment unit of the system has the functions of alarm removal and failure output. The safety level of the derailment function meets SIL2.


3. Track corrugation monitoring: The system has the function of automatic kilometer mark positioning, realizes the continuous real-time collection of wheel-rail vibration and impact information, and realizes detailed analysis functions such as wheel-rail vibration and rail corrugation through the supporting ground data analysis software, which serves as a reference for mastering the track status.
